Metric and Costomary system

What are they?

They are measurements that people use. Metric units are what United States use. .The mass of the metric system are gram, and kilogram. The mass of the length are meter, decimeter, centimeter, millimeter, and kilometer. The capacity for metric are liter, and milliliter. The costomary are measurement people all over the world use. The weight for costomary are ounces, pounds, and tons. The length for costomary are inches, feet, yards, miles, and even lightyears. The capacity of the costomary are teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, pints, quarts, and gallons.

How do I compare one to another in the same system?

This is the metric system:

Length:

1 kilometer = 1000 meters
1 meter = 10 decimeters
1 decimeter = 10 centermeters
1 centermeter = 10 millimeters
1 kilometer = 1000000 millimeters

Mass:

1 kilogram = 1000 grams
1 gram = 1000 milligrams

Capacity:

1 kiloliter = 1000 liters
1 liter = 1000 milliliters

This is the costomary system:

Length:

1 lightyear = 5865696000000 miles
1 mile = 1760 yards
1 yard = 3 feet
1 foot = 12 inches
1 lightyear = 371650498560000000 inches

Weight:

1 ton = 2000 pounds
1 pound = 16 ounce

Capacity:

1 gallon = 4 quarts
1 quart = 2 pints
1 pint = 2 cups
1 cup = 16 tablespoons
1 tablespoon= 3 teaspoons
1 gallon = 768 teaspoons

So how can I measure without a ruler and measuring cup?

Here is how I measure a centimeter. I measure a centimeter by the middle phalange in my pinkey.
I usually measure an inch by using a highlighter marker cap.
I measure a yard by from my nose to fingertip.
I measure a cup with my two hands twice.
